The Flex-Art competitive program recruits gymnasts via
three main methods:
Scouting
Kids registered in the Recreational
Program are recommended for the competitive program by
the recreational coaches. If there is space in the competitive
program, and after discussions with the parents, the child
must be evaluated over the course of two full-length classes.
Based on the mutual decision of the child, the parents and
the coaches, the child may be accepted into the program.
Try-Outs
In the Spring, a try-out session is opened to the general
public. Based on the mutual decision of the child, the parents
and the coaches, the child may be accepted into the program.
Transfer
If a child has been doing competitive gymnastics elsewhere
and wishes to join the Flex-Art Competitive Team for reasons
of migration or otherwise, the Head Coach will certainly evaluate
the gymnast and proceed accordingly. Simply contact
